Donald Perry Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2020, at the age of 88, Donald Perry (Versailles, Illinois), born in Mount Sterling, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy E. Perry and Allena B. Smith Perry; his son Douglas A. Perry; his great grandchildren, Joshua and Christopher Perry; his sister Joann Bedwell; his brother-in-law Wayne Bridgewater; his stepfather Harvey Phillips; his stepbrother David Phillips; his parents-in-law, Claude Bridgewater, Allen and Fern Bridgewater Thoroman; and also Kayla Perry.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Bridgewater; his sons, Dan Perry (Jan) of Paloma and Greg Perry of Versailles, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Heather Streit (Brian), Blake Perry of Jacksonville and April Brown (Noellen) of Apple Valley, Minnesota.; his stepgrandson Brad Krutmeier (Cheyenne) of Camp Point, Illinois.; his great grandchild Dylan Streit of Jacksonville; his stepgrandchildren, Lane, Landry Krutmeier of Camp Point and Christy Horton of Ipava; his stepsister Mary Gordley (Gene) of Griggsville; and his siblings-in-law, Wade Bedwell of Blandinsville and Trudy Bridgewater of Chapin. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Great River Honor Flight or to Parkinson's Foundation to honor his sister.
