He is survived by: his parents, Charles McCormack and Marjorie McCormack (Anderson); his sister Claudia Macholz (Steve) of Wilmington; his nephews, Nicholas Macholz (Molly) and Adam Macholz (Jessica Durham); his niece Jillian Burnley (Mike); and his great-nephews, Eddie Macholz and Jacob Burnley.

Preferred memorials may be made in Douglas' name to Illinois Valley Industries.
