With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis R. Finch of Verona, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Finch and Elsie Finch (Mehock); his siblings-in-law, Tom and Cheri Dolan; and his nephew Todd Dolan.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Finch; his children, Shawna McCowan (Don) of Wentzville, Stacia Finch of Verona, Shelley Cryder (Tony) of Seneca, Scott Finch (Laura) of Diamond and Shane Finch of Mazon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Justin Cryder, Mackenzie Cryder of Tennessee, Gage Cryder of Seneca, Austin McCowan of Wentzville, Zachary Finch of Diamond, Mae Finch of Diamond and Brock Finch of Diamond; and his siblings, Shirley Misener (Terry) of Verona, Janice Muffler (Dave) of Mazon and Rodney Finch (Connie) of Morris. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Dennis' memory to Just Animals Shelter in Mazon or to the family for a future project for the betterment of the Village of Verona.
