It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia E. Basile of Vernon Hills, Illinois, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel; her parents, Albert and Elsie; her brothers, Albert, Robert and Otto Drewke; and her brother-in-law Louis Basile.

She is survived by: her aunt Emma; her uncle Walter Mede; and her cousins, Ellen Fox (Mede), Karin Mede and Eleanor (Gary Mede). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
