He was predeceased by: his wife Grace; his parents, Theresa Spillar and Andrew Spillar; and his siblings, Andrew Spillar Jr. and Mary Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Rybarczyk (Jim), Cynthia Spillar, Janice Rabbit (Donald Jackson) and Gregory Spillar (Jewels); his grandchildren, Jocelyn Vande Velde (Ian), Christina Jackson (Don O'Brien), Natalie Jackson (Lucas Will) and Victoria Porter (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Hunter, Savannah, Harriet, Sydney, Conrad and Wesley.
