He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Eunice Smith; and his siblings, Beverly, Naomi, Bonnie, Duane, Jean and Charlie.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean; his sons, Nathaniel and Daniel (Amy); his grandchildren, Ian, Abby, Emily, Liam, Caroline and Allison; his sister Esther; and his caregiver Crystal.
