It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn P. Hartung of Vernon Hills, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Piepmeier and Mildred Piepmeier (Branom); and her brothers, Edward and Robert Piepmeier. She is survived by: her husband Philip Hartung; her children, Roger Hartung (Judy), Mark Hartung (Laura), Elizabeth Hartung (Robert McGee) and Catherine Olson (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Henry, Harris, Daniel (Myra), Hannah, Leah Hartung, Andrea, Lauren, Emelia Ciccolini, Karen McGee, Jennifer Gonzales (Jesse), Carter and Kennedy Olson; and her brother William Piepmeier (Janice Boyer).
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the First Presbyterian Church.
