She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer "King" and Jessie Kost (Carithers); and her siblings, Jean Douglas, Jack and Russell Kost.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Debbie Douglas of Good Hope, IL, Bob Young of Vermont, IL, Jane Burgard (Larry) of Astoria, IL, Bobby Douglas of Vermont, IL, Sandy Bybee (John) of Vermont, IL, Maureen Greene (Bob) of Vermont, IL and Bruce Kost (Mary Jane) of Mapleton, IL; and her sister Joan Loring (Bob) of Macomb, IL. She is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
