He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alexander and May Jean Frazier Shanks. He is survived by: his sons, Michael of Paris and Brody Shanks of Paris; his siblings, Rea Hindman of Winchester, TN, Charlie Shanks (Cindy) of New Berry, FL, Linda Shon (Mike) of Mesa, AZ, Shelley Pittman (Darrell) of Paris, Trina Steele (Greg) of Estill Springs and Patricia Henderson; and his nieces, Stacy Gallion and Brittane Henderson.
