With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Paul Bost (Vergennes, Illinois), who passed away on August 29, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Joseph and Hallie Belle Bost (Nausley); and his brother Bill Bost. He is survived by: his wife Rose Bost of Vergennes; his daughter Diane; his son-in-law John Kissel of Louisville, KY.; his sons, Randall (Karen Bost) and Larry (Cheryl Bost); his sister Mary Lou; his brother-in-law Jim Roberts of Murphysboro; his brother Gene Bost of Murphysboro; his sister-in-law Jacqueline Bost of Murphysboro; his grandchildren, Shawn Satterfield, Shannon Kleffner (Brian), Allan Bost (Caitlyn), Julia Barker (Brandon), Heather Kissel and Holly Kissel; and his great grandchildren, Hallie, Willa Kleffner, Shelbi Bost and Declan Barker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Parrish Cemetery Association or to the First Lutheran Church in Murphysboro.
