He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel George and Betty Jean Bennett (Kisker); and his brother Dale Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bennett of Vergennes; his children, Melvin Bennett (Jessica), Candy Bennett-James and Dana Johnson; his grandchildren, Corey Johnson, Brandi Townsend, Tabby James and Alyssa Johnson; his great grandchildren, Soren Johnson, Wyatt Bush and Jaidyn Bush; and his brother Melvin Bennett. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
