She was predeceased by: her parents, George Meadows and Christine Meadows (Melson); her sister Georgia Anna Fox; her grandson Kyle Ellis; and her great grandchild Charlette Rae.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer Ellis of Vergennes; her children, Donald Ellis (Sherry) of Vergennes, Tammy Doty (Dennis) of Murphysboro, Kathy Ellis of Vergennes and Matthew Ellis (Kerrah) of Vergennes; her grandchildren, Nicki, Zach, Briana, Morgan, Cody, Tyler, Trent, Zack, Riley, Chase and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Connor, Rayleigh, Brynlee, Cailynn and Braxton; and her sisters, Debbie Hindman of Murphysboro and Alice Barber. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of gratitude may be directed to the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
