She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vincent and Mabel M. Shields (Gale); her husband Wayne Gene Alstat; her son William Alstat (Bill); and her siblings, Vera Mueller, Theresa Lee, Jim Shields, Harold Shields, Wayne Shields and Margaret Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Murray (Rick) of Ava, IL, Alan Alstat (Sabrina) of Vergennes, IL and Laurie Rendleman (Kevin) of Vergennes, IL; her grandchildren, Andrew Coleman (Cheryl) of Riverton, WY, Tiffany Woolf (Paul) of Ava, IL, Hannah Will (Cutter) of Vergennes, IL, Elizabeth Bruce (Kevin) of Ft. Campbell, KY, Michael Alstat of Vergennes, IL, Danielle Alstat (Tony Arroyo) of Marion, IL, Clay Rendleman (Dani Morgan) of Murphysboro, IL and Heather Cox of Mcleansboro, IL; her great grandchildren, Mattie, Owen, Blair, Breanna, Alaina and Dawson; and her siblings, Mary Schuster of Murphysboro, IL, Ervin Shields (Geri) of St. Charles, MO, Connie Froemling (Leonard) of Ava, IL and Joseph Shields of Sacramento, CA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church. A rosary will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
