She is survived by: her significant other Ayden Maurice Hughes; her stepson Jaman Haynes; her siblings, Delores Coleman, Akeyla Coleman, Tony Coleman, Tevin Coleman, Andre Mayes and Anthony Mayes; her mother-in-law Lealer Mae Hughes; her cousin Shaletta Nelson; her aunts, Zetter Wooten and Dorothy Wooten; her uncle Harvey Nelson; her sisters, Geraldine Hughes, Agnes Hughes Nunn (Terry), Elver Jean Bell (Willie) and DeAnna Hughes; her brothers-in-law, Morris and Freddie Hughes; her grandson Jamal Carter; her goddaughter Earlishia Walker; and her close friends, Sheila Campbell, Sheree Powers (Bea), DeAnna Hughes and Sandra Hagler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
