He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Koch and Donna Koch (Smith); his children, Glenn, Steven and Janine Koch; and his grandchild Tracy Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ward; his children, Donna Dickerson of Toluca and Melvin Koch of Varna; his brother Robert Koch of Joliet; and his grandchildren, Jenny Koch (Cory Hannah) of Varna, Christine Hunt (Loren) of Lacon, Jesse Parrot (Jimmy) of Lacon, Jacob Koch of Varna, Douglas Dickerson of Michigan, Rebecca Harris of Crest Hill and Joy Dickerson of Toluca. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
