He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vernon and LaNeva Emma Schultz, Sr. (Speck); his wife Emma Mae Martin; his siblings, Robert Vernon Schultz, Jr. and Geraldine Dorothy Purcell; and his nephew Robert Foster Purcell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vonnie (Mark Albrecht) of Tucson and Kathy Schultz of Vandalia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
