He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles James and Lillias Mae Fletcher (Pinkerton); his daughter Rebecca Jean "Becky" Maschhoff; his siblings, Maxine Simpson, Thelma Futrell (Carl), Angeline "Angie" Moulder (Les), Darlene Parks, Roy Fletcher (Etta) and James Fletcher; and his brothers-in-law, Frank Matheny and Ray White.
He is survived by: his son William J. "Billy" Fletcher of Centralia; his sisters, Velma White of Decatur, Pauline Matheny of Decatur, Josephine Walters (Chuck) of Decatur and Lorene Patterson of Centralia; and his siblings-in-law, Glen Simpson of Irvington and Cora Lee Fletcher of Salem. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill Fletcher's honor may be made to Greenview Christian Church or to the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
