He is survived by: his wife Tina Ann Evans (King); his daughter Stephanie Thomas; his son-in-law Brent Tedrick; his son Greg Evans (Faith) of Vandalia; his stepsons, Jeremy Easton (Robyn) of Longmont, CO and Jason Easton (Becky) of Chatham, IL; his grandchildren, Jaden Evans of Vandalia, Jace Thomas of Vandalia, Ayla Evans of Vandalia, Raven Evans of Vandalia, Jaxon Easton, Hudson Easton of Chatham, IL, Bowen Easton of Longmont, CO, Lilly Tedrick and Cooper Tedrick of Vandalia; and his sister Tanja Ervin of Vandalia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Walt may be made to the Evans Public Library, Fayette County Cancer Fund, or the Carl Rhodes Barnabas Fund.
