He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Jackson and Faye L. Jackson (Hunter); his siblings, Johnny Keith Hunter, Danny Eugene Jackson, Gary Dean Jackson and Linda Lou Jackson; and his pet Sue.

He is survived by: his daughter Amanda (Brian Walk); his stepson Timothy Shipley (Robin); his grandchildren, Jordan, Isabella Walk and Dylan Reeter of Vandalia; and his siblings, Jerry Jackson of Greenville, Ina Mae Aldridge of Kingman, IN and Judie (Dale Hans) of Kodak, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Louis Children's Hospital/Washington University Neurofibromatosis Center.
