She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jarret "Sadie" and Eileen May Brown (Cross); her brother Charles David "Chuck" Brown; and her brother-in-law Lawrence Hudson. She is survived by: her significant other Jerry Wall of Vandalia; her children, Chris Wall (Heather), Mary Alice Smith of Ramsey, Leslie Otto of Bingham, Angie (Jason Dunaway) of Sevierville, TN, Jerry Wall (Brandy) of Vandalia and Shayla (Brad Eyman) of Vandalia; her sister Andrea Hudson of St. Louis, MO; her sister-in-law Lynn Brown of Ocala, FL; her grandchildren, Courtney, Amber, Samantha, Nathan, Kloey, Jesse, Keagan, Emma, Ford, Carly and Caleb; and her great grandchild Asher. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
