She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Blankenship and Iona Marie Blankenship (Harrison); her husband Donald Eugene Smith; and her brothers, Harrison and James "Roger" Blankenship.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Smith (Joyce) of Mulberry Grove and Donna (Glenn Dothager) of Vandalia; her grandchildren, Scott Smith (Kristi) of Mulberry Grove, Ashley (Tyler Willingham) of Highland, Jeremy Dothager (Alexandra) of St. Joseph and Megan (Dalton Mills) of Greenville; and her great grandchildren, Cullen Willingham, Corbin Willingham, Tucker Mills, Ruthie Willingham and Violet Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mulberry Grove American Legion, Northside Christian Church, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
