She was predeceased by: her father John VanUytven; and her husband George Thomas Holliday. She is survived by: her mother Donna VanUytven (Carter) of Oconee; her children, Erika Holliday (Mark Sherbeyn) of Monticello, Adam Holliday (Andrea) of Ft. Mitchell, KY, Rachel Holliday of Monticello, Jacob Holliday (Mi'Quelle Stewart) of Effingham and Andrea (Chris Matthews) of Vandalia; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Holliday, Thomas, Matthew, Ada, Ella Holliday, Taylor McClary, Lydia Holliday, George, Jedi Holliday and Wylder Matthews; her siblings, Rita (Nick Scales) of Decatur, Paul VanUytven, Pranee of Ramsey, Elaine Heimgartner of Benton, Mike VanUytven of Herrick, Janet (Larry Werden) of Ashmore, Susie (Gary Miller) of Ramsey, Steve VanUytven (Christy) of Oconee and Dan VanUytven of Ramsey; and her close friend Kevin Aukamp of Vandalia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Warrior Nation Cancer Foundation, which Ruth was a supporter and volunteer, or to the donor's choice.
