It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Nell South of Vandalia, Illinois, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther H. Austin and Lou Erin Austin (Brinkley); her husband Howard Roby South; her son Marion Blaine South; and her siblings, Denny Eugene Austin, Luther Austin Jr. and Linda John.
She is survived by: her sister Debbie Parker of Idabel, OK.; her children, Wayne Thomas South Sr. of Herrick, IL, Howard Roby South Jr. of Henrietta Texas, Jeannie Heiman (Donnie) of Herrick, IL, Terry Buck (Kevin) of Ramsey, IL and Belinda Elliott (Allan) of Vandalia, IL.; and her grandchildren, Michael South, Christopher Heiman, Donnie Heiman Jr., Christy Moreland, Michelle South, Wayne South Jr., Cassidy Sussman, Miranda South, Brandon South, Shane Rhodes, Cole South, Ransom South, Nicole Pearson, Brittany Hardy, Kamber Moore, Sean Moore and Lyndsy Moore.
