He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Combs and Specia Combs (Begley); his siblings, Lehman Combs, Beulah Morgan, Leila Edwards and Annette Cutter; his son Michael S. Combs; and his stepson Wesley Conner.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Combs. He is also survived by two daughters; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
