He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Opal Irene Cearlock (Elder); and his siblings, Dean, Gene, DeWayne Cearlock, Dorris Cearlock and Kay Kistler.
He is survived by: his wife Nelda Cearlock of Vandalia; his daughters, Rhonda Cearlock of Vandalia, Nancy Cearlock of St. Peters, MO and Sue (Don Schofield) of Franklin, TN; his sisters, Joan Siebert of Vandalia and Judy Dothager of East Peoria; his granddaughters, Leah (Ryan Griesenauer) of Hendersonville, TN and Elizabeth (Jesse Woodall) of Knoxville, TN; and his great grandchild Bennett Griesenauer of Hendersonville, TN..
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (127 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
