He is survived by: his wife Juanita Carter of Vandalia; his children, Angela (Greg Strobel) of Brownstown and Eric Carter (Vicky) of Springfield, MO; his siblings, Donna Ellingsworth, Cynthia (Phil Becker) and Steve Carter (Lori); his sister-in-law Shirley Carter; his grandchildren, Pierce Strobel (Brittany) of Brownstown, Joylynn (Eric Beckett) of Royse City, TX, Trevor Carter of Springfield, MO and Nathan Carter of Springfield, MO; and his great grandchildren, Alaina Strobel, Wade Strobel, Dante Beckett and Amberlynn Beckett.
