It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Raymond Alender of Vandalia, Illinois, born in Shobonier, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Alender and Edrie Alender (Carter); his wives, Violet Julia (Henager) and Maribelle Beckman (Leidner); his stepson Steve Beckman; and his siblings, Chester and Barbara.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike Alender (Tina) of Lovington and Jeff Alender of Cartersville, GA; his stepson Gene Beckman; and his friend Linda Hanabarger of Ramsey. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church - Radio Ministry.
