He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Anton and Emma Anna Korte (Kalmer); and his siblings, Clarence Korte and Eleanor Henrichs. He is survived by: his wife Helen Korte (Dial) of Vandalia; his stepdaughters, Wendy (David Goodin) of Vandalia and Zena (Thomas Richardson) of Ramsey; his sisters, Florence Schrage, Olivia Flicker and Irene (Bernard Huelsmann); his sister-in-law Ruth Korte; his grandchildren, Mindy File (Tom), Crystal Stilt (John), Zennia Wooden (Brad), William Muma (Laura Carter), Amanda Wheeler (Chauncey), Scott Richardson and Kayla Morgan (D. J.); and his great grandchildren, Courtney Hartupee (Timothy), Andrew Gaylord, Andy Stilt, Joey Stilt (Kaila), Breese Mooney (Brinden), Mistie Stilt (Josh Barker), David Stilt, Brad Wooden, Kenzie Wooden, Anthony Snow (Kat), Brandan Snow, Shayla Weischedel (Michael), Gavin Muma (Vivien), Brantley Richardson, Kaylin Morgan, Chauncey Wheeler Jr., John Wheeler, McKenzie Wheeler, Adalynn Wheeler and Ayah Wheeler. He is also survived by 15 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
