It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Holaday of Vandalia, Illinois, born in Salem, Illinois, who passed away on May 7, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston William and Mava Kathryn Holaday (Saunders); his wife Linda "Kay" Poland; his son-in-law Jeffrey Isringhausen; and his sister Frances Holaday.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Holaday (Amy), Susan (Clark Durbin) of Vandalia and Diane Isringhausen of Vandalia; his grandchildren, Mackenzie (Mitchell Graumenz), Matthew Holaday, Eric Holaday, Amber (Alex Norris), Abbey Durbin, Austin Durbin (Addie), Isaac Isringhausen and Avery Isringhausen; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Max Graumenz, Mila and Emmy Norris; his siblings, Paul Holaday of Fargo, ND and Nancy (Steve Chace) of Bloomington; his granddaughter Karsyn Garrison; and also, Robert and Kristina Garrison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fayette County Cancer Fund or HSHS Hospice.
