It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Funk of Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Floyd and Meri Funk (Thompson); his son Tony Funk; and his stepdaughter Shanna Wright. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Funk of Vandalia; his sons, Timothy Funk of Vandalia and Todd Funk of Vandalia; his stepson John Wright Jr.; his grandchildren, Nichole Wilson (Funk), Michael Funk, Lani Nuebling, Allison Funk and Anthony Funk; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Wright, Tayler Wright, Shelby Rhodes and Levi Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, Kylen Cody, Karter Huston, Kailee Nehrt, Miley Funk and Aurora Wright.
