He was predeceased by: his father Robert David Burtschi; and his grandparents, Irvin, Marian Probst, Bob and Jean Burtschi.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Jean Probst (Probst) of Vandalia; his children, Shaun Burtschi (Jaclynn Cason) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Zackery Thompson of Vandalia, Lain Hawthorne of Vandalia and Jordan Burtschi of Van Buran, MO; his sister Michelle (Allen Ensinger) of Lafayette, IN; his half-sister Jennifer Marty of Houston, TX; and his grandson Noah Michael Burtschi of Poplar Bluff, MO. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends.
