With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Butler of Vandalia, Illinois, born in Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on March 1, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Butler to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Butler and Mildred Butler; his sister Peggy Smith; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Smith. He is survived by: his wife Dian Butler (Karrick); his children, Pops, Addison, Gracin, Nathan Butler (Kristin) of Columbia, IL and Anthony Butler (Anna Todd) of Chicago; his granddaughters, Addison and Gracin Butler; and his sister Jennifer Burgess of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces and nephew and countless relatives and friends.
The family also requests you wear a mask and social distance during the visitation and service. All COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to First Presbyterian Church of Vandalia, IL where Mike was an Elder member.
