He is survived by: his wife Janet Kern of Vandalia; his daughters, Deborah Lewis (Lloyd) of Vandalia, Marcia Andrejack (John) of Webberville, MI, Patricia Hoffman (Randy) of Vandalia and Amy Newsom (Smokey) of Vandalia; his siblings, Charles Kern (Glenda) of Keyesport, James Kern (Melinda) of Mulberry Grove, Shirley Barenfanger of Vandalia, Donna Bowen (Larry) of Mulberry Grove and Barbara Jackson of Panama; and his grandchildren, Tim Lewis, Mark Lewis, Sarah Vanderkwaak, Eric Andrejack, Daniel Andrejack, Joel Andrejack, Erin Thomason, Kyle Hoffman, Whitney Huggins and Alex Newsom. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
