She is survived by: her husband Don; her son David Bitzer, MD (Christine) of Springfield Illinois; her grandchildren, Grant Bitzer (Cate) of Chapel Hill, NC, Bryan Bitzer (Ellen) of Santa Monica, CA and Hannah Bitzer of St. Paul, MN; and her sister-in-law Carol Lampe of Collinsville, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
