Marion Forbes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 91, Marion Forbes of Vandalia, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marion Forbes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dunnagan and Nellie Dunnagan (McDowell); and her husband James L. "Jim" Forbes. She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Dennis Wodtka) of Bingham, Robert "Bob" Duckworth of Vandalia and Becky (Randy Pryor) of Vandalia; and her sisters, Joyce Carpenter, Phyllis Elder, Jean Ann Donaldson, Janeene Arnold and Linda Lape. She is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Mooseheart International or an organization of the donor's choice.
