Engeling (Shafer); her husband William Rodell Tarter Sr. (Bill); her children, William Rodell Tarter Jr. (Bill) of Carlyle, Diane Straub (Randy) of Vandalia, Stephen Tarter (Beth) of Vandalia, David Tarter (Kim) of Alhambra, Mark Tarter (Lori) of Sigel, Kathy Ehrat (Todd) of Savoy and Jeff (Melinda) of St. Peters, MO; her children-in-law, Phil Jordan of Coralville, IA and Sheila Tarter of St. Louis, MO; her siblings, Charles Engeling (Janet) of Taylorville, Betty Limper (Alfred) of Rochester, Patty Mollohan (Larry) of Taylorville and JoAn Engeling of Taylorville; her siblings-in-law, Deon Young of Irving, Roy Tarter (Mary Louise) of Lisle and Sandy Tarter of Mattoon; her children, Susan Jordan and Dr. James G. Tarter; her siblings, John E. Engeling, Raymond Engeling (Patricia), Wilma Young and Eva O'Brien; and her brother-in-law Harold Tarter. She was also cherished by 25 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
