It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis D. Locke of Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alda Otho and Florence Belle Locke (Feller); his wife Cecelia Lorene Hulskotter; his daughter Linda Jo Locke; and his siblings, Emmett Locke, Harold Locke, James Locke, Robert Locke, William Locke, Florence Locke, Iris Locke and Shirley Locke.
He is survived by: his children, Lewis D. "Chip" Locke Jr. of Baytown, TX, Leslie K. "Les" Locke of Baytown, TX and Lynette K. (David R. White) of Vandalia; his grandchildren, John Locke (Eva), Morgan Locke (Eduardo), David White II, Jeremy White (Nicole), Courtney White, Julian White and Stacy White; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Eleonora, Zackery, Hayley, Davin, Leif, Marlee and Zavier; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dez, Destinee and Dawson.
Memorials may be made to St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
