With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Kent Johnson of Vandalia, Illinois, born in Shobonier, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Johnson and Sibly Johnson (Alender). He is survived by: his wife Linda Clydene Tate of Vandalia; his children, Tricia (Brian Elam) of Vandalia, Pat Johnson (Amy) of Vandalia and David Johnson of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jacob, Justin, Jonah, Kacey and Jaden; and his sisters, Louella, Linda and Sheila. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
