She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville K. Powers and Vivian D. Powers (Barnes); her son Michael Tessman; and her siblings, Kenneth, Ronald, Donald, Bobby Powers, June Warden and Janet Clayton.

She is survived by: her children, Fred L. Tessman of Vandalia and Melissa (David Willms) of Brownstown; her grandchildren, Heather Kramer, Jennifer Elam, Emily Alderson, F. Kegan Tessman and Seth Tessman; and her great grandchildren, Austin Schwarm, Lauren, Anna Kramer, Madelyn, Lily Elam, Aida, Ellie and Amelia Alderson.
