It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Bertram of Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burrell Denton and Lora "Marie" Denton (Hockman); her husband Wallace Dean Henry Bertram; her sisters, June Moore and Doris Sugg; and her son-in-law John Ashdown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamela (Ken Wolff) of Sikeston, MO, Dianna Grove of Vandalia and Tina Ashdown of Carson City, NV; her grandchildren, Craig Mason, Clint Mason, Kristin Parmenter, Matthew Grove, Derek Ashdown and Todd Ashdown; and her great grandchildren, Clark Parmenter, Brooke Mason and Nora Parmenter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends and Families of Fayette County Hospital, Immanuel Lutheran Church, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
