He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Paul "Buck" and Margaret Janet Wright (Jones); his daughter Shanna Kay Wright; and his brothers, Jimmie Paul Wright, Larry Joe Wright, Eddie Lee Wright and Jackie George Wright.
He is survived by: his son John Wright Jr. of Vandalia; his siblings, Kay Willms of Vandalia, Cathy Candler of Delavan, Mickey Joe Wright of Stewardson, Ronnie Wright (Jill) of Vandalia, Debbie Smith (Herb) of Vandalia and Phil Wright (Julie) of Decatur; his sisters-in-law, Betty Wright of Gonzales, LA and Donna Wright of Mulberry Grove; his grandchildren, Jessica Rose Wright, Seth Schrock, Taylor Renee Wright, Shelby Lynn Seaton (Nich) and Levi Dylan Rhodes; and his great grandchild Aurora Renee Wright. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Northside Christian Church Youth Group or Bethlehem Cemetery.
