He is survived by: his wife Iona Etcheson of Vandalia; and his children, John Etcheson Jr. (Cathy) of Vandalia, Kevin Etcheson (Angela) of Vandalia, Paul Etcheson (Coni) of Ruskin, FL, Jason Etcheson (LaDonna) of Vandalia, Jeanna (Al Appugliese) of St. Petersburg, FL and Patricia (John Shelton) of Taneyville, MO. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
