He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce K. Evans and Madeline Evans Blake (Causey); his son Britton Merrill; and his siblings, Kenneth Evans, Charles Evans, Troy "Wes" Evans, Richard Evans and Carolyn King.
He is survived by: his wife Tracy Evans of Vandalia; his children, Karen Martin, Angel (Cleve Ellis) of Mt. Vernon, Jerri (David Heierman) of Vandalia, Michelle (Bryan Walker) of Vandalia, Lyndsay (Anthony Lach) of Vandalia, Jamie (Josh Brooks) of Vandalia, Lacey Merrill of Vandalia, Gauge Jarrett of Vandalia, Nikki Nukem of Vandalia, Katlyn Evans of Vandalia, BJ Tedrick of Vandalia, Justin Evans of Vandalia, Shyla Warren of Vandalia, Chase Evans of Vandalia, Kaylin Robinson of Vandalia, Dawsyn Evans of Vandalia and Jacob Korves of Vandalia; and his siblings, Curtis Evans of Vandalia, Bob Evans of Vandalia, Donald "Buffy" Evans of Vandalia, Betty Litaker of Vernon and Margie Litaker of Louisville. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
