He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Degenhart and Rose Ann Degenhart (Ewald); his wife Norma Hopkins; his sister Mary Louise Degenhart; and his parents-in-law, Clem and Myrtle Hopkins.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristina; his granddaughter Karsyn Garrison (Mitch Pannitto) of Willoughby, OH; his brothers, Paul Degenhart (Mary Kay) of St. Louis, MO and John Degenhart (Theresa) of Okawville, IL; and his brother-in-law Larry Hopkins (Dianne) of Vandalia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family of Jim Degenhart.
