He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Michel and Theresa Kastner Michel Ehlert; his wife Dolores Oertwig; his son Randy Michel; his siblings, Alvin Michel, Victor Michel, Norman Michel and Gladys Fisher; and his grandson-in-law Gregg Hayes.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan (Kennie Moeller) of Dexter, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kevin (Lendsay Moeller) of Aiken and Elizabeth Hayes of Richlands; and his great grandchildren, Braden of Aiken, Chandler Moeller of Aiken and Christine Hayes of Richlands.
Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Mighty Oakes Heart Foundation, or to the donor's choice.
