He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Louis and Eloise V. Crane (Jarrett); his spouse Shirley (Grisham); and his siblings, Virgil "Tommy" Crane, Larry M. Crane and Shirley Hoffman.
He is survived by: his son Kent Crane of Wyoming, MI; his sisters, Carolyn McDowell of Ramsey and Judy Dothager of Vandalia; and his nieces and nephews, Kenny Dothager, Eric Dothager, Ronnie McDowell, Randy McDowell, Leila Miller and Sheila Tippen.
