With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Tessman of Vandalia, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Fred leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lee Tessman and Joyce Ilene Kwedras (Powers); and his siblings, Michael Tessman and Melissa Willms. He is survived by: his son F. Kegan Tessman (Olivia) of Vandalia; his partner Sharla Halford of Vandalia; his granddaughter Gracie Tessman of Vandalia; and his brother-in-law David Willms of Brownstown. He is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.
