She was predeceased by: her parents, Davey Long and Violet Long; and her husband Kenneth C. Ambuehl. She is survived by: her sister Ethel Long-McFarland; her daughter Carol Long (Frank Klekamp); her grandchildren, Lacey, Zach, Destiny, Jerrod and Desirae; and her great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Brooks, Kahlil, Terri and Briston.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hohlt & File Funeral Home, Ltd. (204 N 4th St, Vandalia, IL 62471). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Second Chance Animal Rescue or Vandalia Rehab & Healthcare Center.
