She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thomas and Isabell Daniels (Engle); her husband Grover Bennett Jr.; her son-in-law Steve Carpenter; her siblings, Bob Brule (Doris), Mike Engle (Kitty) and Shirley (Glenn Doehring); and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Gable and Carl Clymer.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Carpenter of Altamont; her granddaughter Katelyn (Cody Ennen) of Vandalia; her great grandchild Koda Ennen of Vandalia; and her siblings, Jim Daniels (Lavonna) of Keyesport, Phyllis Gable of Vandalia and Sherry Clymer of Vandalia.
A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairlawn Cemetery (716 S 5th St, Vandalia, IL 62471).
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Haven of St. Elmo.
