It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Kleiman of Vandalia, Illinois, born in Canandaigua, New York, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Garratt and Margelia Garratt (Chase); her former spouse Louie Lucero; her husband Bill; and her siblings, Charles, Ida, Carrie, Jean, Mary, Darlene and Ethel.
She is survived by: her children, Lou Lucero (Virginia), Charles Kleiman, Sarah Lucero, Karen Brake (Bret), Colleen Fender (Aron) and Jessica Kleiman; and her grandchildren, Matthew Lucero, Lilly Fender, Lenna Fender, Alexander Lucero, Kayden Kleiman, Nova Kleiman and Violet Kinsella. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vandalia Rehabilitation & Health Care Center Activity Fund.
